Jan 26, 2007 by JerryC | 1 CommentFounded in 1968, the Anderson County Sportsmans Club is dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the hunting and shooting sports in the state of Kentucky.
ACSC is a non-for-profit, private membership, all-volunteer organization dedicated to promoting environmental conservation, hunter education, wildlife restoration, and youth education in outdoorsmanship. Each officer and director of the club is donating his/her time to make the club a successful emissary to the public on behalf of the hunting and shooting sports.
In our efforts to promote these values, ACSC has established and supports outreach programs within Lawrenceburg and the neighboring communities. These progams are designed to educate and inform the novice about the various hunting and shooting sports, as well as, provide the experienced person with opportunity to enjoy the sport. All programs are open to any individual without regard for race, sex, creed or color. Among these programs are: Squirrel Rifle Shoots, Hunter Education Classes, Women On Target programs and Orion Club Youth Events (Please see our 'Outreach' section for details about these programs).
Located on 130 acres of rolling Kentucky land, at the end of Old Joe Road, 5 miles south of Lawrenceburg Kentucky, we invite you to come out to view the facilities and meet with the membership. Perhaps you'll be inspired to join us.
