We've added Saturday, September 27 to our 2008 volunteer work day schedule. So far this year, 17 people have put in 147 hours scrubbing floors and windows, digging up rocks, filling up holes, painting, weed-eating, and other various chores. And, we still have a lot more to do to get the clubhouse fixed up. If you haven't joined us at a work day yet this year, this may be your final chance to become eligible for our gift certificate drawing.
Our task list includes the following: painting the kitchen and bathroom floors, cleaning the clubhouse exterior siding, repairing the screen door, cleaning/fixing the gutters, and more. As always, we will start at 9:00 am and work until 4:00 or 5:00 pm. Bottled water and lunch will be provided for all workers. Please bring any cleaning brushes, buckets, paint scrapers, paint brushes, and any other tools you might consider handy.
Come on out -- it's a great way to support our club -- and all it costs is a few hours of your time.
